Andrea Levy, delegate of Culture, Tourism and Sports of the Madrid City Council, unveiled the plaque that certifies that Antonio Díaz, El Mago Pop, became the highest grossing European magician in the world at the Teatro Rialto in Madrid.

When Antonio Díaz, EL MAGO POP, offers the last performance of his show NADA ES IMPOSIBLE at the Teatro Rialto on Sunday, July 7 at 7:30 p.m., he will have made history in the world of magic and illusionism.
Recognized by FORBES magazine as the "highest-grossing European illusionist in the world", Antonio Díaz has created his own category by taking magic and illusionism to the highest international level.
With more than 1,200,000 spectators between his shows "La Gran Ilusión" and "Nada Es Imposible", the success of Antonio Díaz surpasses the genre to make him the highest grossing artist in Spain in 2017, with 297,000 tickets sold – followed by Melendi with 208,972 and Joaquin Sabina with 172,755 (*) – and repeating the podium in 2018 with 278,136 tickets sold – Pablo Alboran and Concierto OT in first position, in a miraculous tie with 288,640 tkts. (*).
Between “La Gran Ilusión” and “Nada Es Imposible”, Antonio Díaz has offered a total of 747 performances at the Teatro Rialto on Gran Vía, reaching a number of performances never dreamed of by any individual artist who has ever performed in the city of Madrid, a fact that is collected on a commemorative plaque on the facade of the theater.
