AITANA AND ANTONIO DÍAZ "EL MAGO POP" AQUIRE OWNERSHIP OF TEATRE AQUITÀNIA IN BARCELONA

Aitana and Antonio Díaz, "El Mago Pop" have partnered to acquire Teatre Aquitània in Barcelona - an iconic city venue that is embarking on a new chapter with the aim of contributing to the growth of the performing arts and reinforcing Barcelona's role as a major European cultural hub.
With this initiative, both artists are making a firm commitment to the performing arts and to their city, driving a project designed to create new opportunities for creators and industry professionals, foster the preduction and presentation of new shows, and contribute to strengthening Barcelona's cultural fabric.
The project was born out of a desire to support talent, foster the professionalization of the performing arts, drive job creation, and continue consolidating Barcelona as a leading city for culture and creativity.
Aitana explains, "Antonio and I had long dreamed of working on a project together, and we couldn't imagine a more beautiful way to start than by championing culture and the future of the performing arts. We deeply believe in the future of theaters, and it is a pivilege for us to help preserve and grow a space as special as Teatre Aquitània. We are thrilled to breathe new life into it and will work hard to make Barcelona proud of this project."

I had never had a partner in any of my projects before, so I am especially thrilled that my first partenr is Aitana - an artist I deeply admire who, through her talent, hard work, and charisma, has established herself as one of the most impactful and significant artists in our country.
With the acquisition of Teatre Aquitània, Aitana and Antonio Díaz are launching a long-term project rooted in artistic excellence, innovation, and a commitment to the future of the performing arts, aiming to transform the venue into a meeting point for new ideas, new audiences, and new generations of creators.
